Bryan Smith Homes was established in 1977

and after 33 years of fine home building and land developing the company offers today's homebuyers originality, superb craftsmanship and personal attention to detail that's hard to beat!

Bryan Smith Homes has designed and built some of the finest residences in North Texas, including homes and developments in Irving, Las Colinas, Grapevine, Grand Prairie, South Lake, Keller, Plano, Frisco, Richland Chambers Lake and North Dallas-Preston Hollow.

Today Bryan looks at home building as more of an art form then as a way to make an honest living. "Our goal is to design and build homes that are as true to the era of a certain style of architecture as possible".  The company has built a wide verity of home styles including 16th Century French Renaissance, Country French, Texas Hill Country, Spanish Mission, Modern Contemporary and Traditional Old World Classic.

Bryan works hand-in-hand with his Award Winning Architects and Interior Design team to get every last detail right. "we spend countless hours tweaking our plans over and over until the homes are ready to build. During construction every detail is constantly checked and re-checked so that nothing will be overlooked or left to chance. "So many builders today rarely spend time in the homes they are building and leave it up to superintendents who may or may not be properly qualified or even worse, their sub-contractors are running the jobs". "Our subcontractors are some of the best in North Texas, but they are not home building experts trained to oversee a new home being built".

 

              

 

From day one, Bryan Smith Homes has raised the bar in the home building industry and it shows. "Our homes usually lead the appraisal value of every subdivision we have ever developed or built new homes in"  "Over the years I  have trained multiple personnel the art of the business and several of them are now running their own home building companies.

"I love taking a piece of dirt and designing and building someone's dream home on it".  There is nothing more satisfying then to sit back when the home  is complete  with clients and have a special toast in honor of all the hard work that goes into the home. 

In  1981, Bryan was elected to serve as a Director for the Irving Home Builders Association, which at the time had one of the largest memberships within the National Home Builders Association. He was only 22 at the time making him the youngest member to ever serve on that board. His fellow directors back then were in their 40's and up.  "It was an honor and a privilege".

In 1983, Bryan Smith Homes became a finalist of 4 in the prestigious Dallas Home and Apartment Builders Annual, McSam Awards for Best Product and Design- In the Mid Density Housing category.
